Sources from Hyderabad have stated that moderate to heavy rainfall is predicted in both the Telugu speaking states as a low pressure continues in Vidarbha. Meanwhile according to the Cyclone Warning Center in Visakhapatnam rains accompanied by strong winds are expected in the next 24 to 48 hours. Fishermen were cautioned against heading out to sea in the next 48 hours.
Moreover the Indian Meteorological Department in a press release said the low pressure will develop into cyclonic storm causing moderate to heavy rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Monday and Tuesday.
Furthermore in view of the extraordinary solar eclipse on Monday, scientists expect abnormal weather conditions. This will have a bearing on the rainfall and wind patterns in the coastal regions over the next 48 hours.
