Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday tactically defended Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's speech regarding 'dynasty politics' and said that there were several examples to quote with reference.The dynasty in politics not happens only in India but also has happened in other countries in the world.
''We have many examples that speak in history where people adopted the profession just because of their family background,'' Akhilesh SP party supremo , who is the well-recognized member of one of India's biggest political family, told reporters here.He said the example of the USA, as a reference where he said the wife (Hilary Clinton) of a former president ran for the presidency on the other hand the son of another former president (George H W Bush) also went on to occupy the same top post.
Akhilesh said that Rahul was his good friend and reiterated that his party's alliance with the Congress would continue and there is no change in it.
