Bhopal sources have reported that a Jain couple from Madhya Pradesh, who owns crores worth of properties, has decided to become monks stunning their relatives and villagers. Sumit Rathore and his wife Anamika planned to take deeksha on September 23 under Sudhamargi Jain Acharya Ramlal Maharaj at Surat leaving their 3 year old daughter Ibhya with their parents. 



Meanwhile Sumit's father Rajendra Singh Rathore, who is an industrialist also accepted their son's decision and Anamika's father Ashok Chandaliya, a former Neemuch district president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, too has accepted. Moreover Sumit, who obtained deeksha under Acharya Ramlal at Surat, announced his decision at a gathering on August 22. Sumit and Anamika have taken a vow of silence till the deeksha.

Sumit’s cousin, Sandeep, who is close to him, said, “He had everything that a man wanted. Property worth around Rs 100 crore, a loving wife and a daughter. But he chose to renounce everything.
