Hyderabad sources have stated that the Supreme Court on Friday stated that it will not remain a mute spectator if the controversial Sadavarthi Satram lands are auctioned for paltry amount.

Meanwhile hearing arguments in the case, the Court expressed surprise that the lands were sold at Rs 40 crore more than the first auctioned amount of Rs 20 crore. It may be recalled that a second auction on the said lands fetched Rs 60.30 crore. However, counsel for the AP government told the Supreme Court on Friday that the winning bidder failed to pay up Rs 60.30 crore.
