Sources have stated that senior BJP leader from Chirala in Prakasam district Koppolu Satyanarayana ended his life by hanging from the ceiling of his house. The incident, which occurred in Sampathnagar under Kothapeta panchayat of Vetapalem mandal, has sent shock waves among the party workers, friends and relatives.
Accordingly he is survived by wife Padmavathi, two sons. Both the sons are married and are employed in Hyderabad and Bengaluru respectively. For the past few days he was living alone as his wife was in Bengaluru to take care of daughter-in-law, who is unwell.
Sources have also stated that Satyanarayana has a
small scale industry and also runs a dry-cleaning shop. He has of late been
reportedly facing problems for being a guarantee to a friend, who defaulted on
loan. The lenders were pestering Satyanarayana and his death may have to do
with this.
