Andhra Pradesh sources have reported that TDP Working President A Revanth Reddy has reportedly met AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. During their meet, Rahul offered a key post to Revanth and the latter also expressed his interest to join Congress. As per latest report, Revanth went to Delhi on his personal work two days ago.
Meanwhile, during his stay, he got a call from Rahul office on Tuesday morning and immediately rushed to AICC leader's residence and held secret talks with the Congress leader. Moreover soon after the new Channels started telecasting the news about Ravanth's joining, Revanth clarified that he will stay in TDP only. However, he did not rule out his meeting with Rahul.
According to sources, Revanth has been unhappy in TDP ever since his senior leaders proposed a poll alliance with TRS in 2019 elections. He strongly opposed sailing with the TRS as he fought tooth and nail against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's government.
