It has been a year since Demonetization and there has been both praises and critics. In this case, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad who wanted to speak high about Demonetization has said that Prostitution in India has reduced due to this Demonetization.
Speaking to the media, he said, "There have been Women trafficking in Assam, West Bengal and Bihar and that happened frequently. A lot of cases have been filed on missing women. These women were used for Skin Trade. However, now due to this demonetization, this has been reduced drastically.
Apart from prostitution, even honor murders have also been decreased. A good example would be Mumbai. Pelting of stones in Kashmir is also reduced. The main reason behind all these is Digital money transaction and Demonetization. This Government will never rest until Corruption is uprooted."
