Bhavana rape case is just taking new turns every now and then. Actor Dileep who was arrested as the prime accused has now been made as 8th accused due to the lack of witnesses. Now, The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted its charge sheet to the Angamaly Magistrate Court.
After the charge sheet was submitted, the court named Dileep as the 8th accused and he was booked under 17 sections of the IPC. The police submitted 5 copies of the charge sheet to the court. Dileep who was initially named as the 11th accused in the case had been charged under 11 sections including conspiracy and gang rape.
As per reports, there are 355 witnesses and among them, 50 are from the film industry and among the 50, Dileep's ex-wife Manju Warrier is also a Key witness. The reports further say that the charge sheet is 650 pages and Pulsar Sunil is still the prime accused and Martin who was Bhavana's driver is the second accused.
Two other men who were involved in this rape turned approvers. Their names are Vipin and Aneesh. Recently Dileep requested the court to leave him to Dubai as he wanted to take part in the inauguration of his restaurant chain The Puttu. The court granted permission for 4 days.
