Seeing the way things are moving in Tamil Nadu, the state is heading slowly towards President rule. St.George's Fort in Chennai has a special room allotted for the President and most of them would be unaware of it. Because it's quite a rare sight to see the president coming to St.George's Fort.

The Last president to visit this room is Governor Surjit Singh Barnala on January 31, 1991. That too he came as DMK President Kalaignar's government was disbanded the before the day. Chandrasekar was the Prime Minister at that period. Chandrasekar disbanded DMK's reign in Tamil Nadu due to the pressure mounted by Late CM Jayalalitha.

Immediately, Congress stopped their support towards Chandrasekar and that shook the entire Government. What is happening in Tamil Nadu? The ruling EPS-OPS is just dancing to the tunes of BJP government. The latest BJP character to enter this drama is Governor Banwarilal Prohit.

He started to assess all activities himself. Despite criticisms from Opposition, he continued to assess all movements. And if you ask the question if there can be a state without any self-respect? The only answer you can hear is Tamil Nadu. This clearly shows Tamil Nadu is slowly and steadily moving towards President rule.
