According to sources it was stated that YSR Congress Party senior leader and MLA RK Roja will embark on Padayatra demanding the Andhra Pradesh government to complete the long pending Galeru-Nagari project.
Sources have made a statement that the party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fighting on the issue against Chandrababu government since three years. The project was taken up by former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy to address water problem in Chittoor and other Rayalaseema districts.
Accordingly Roja will start her Padayatra from
Nagari in her Assembly Constituency on November 28. Her Padayatra will cover 88
km up to Tirumala temple, the abode of Lord Venkateswara. It was known to all
that Jagan already launched Padayatra in Andhra Pradesh recently.
