According to sources from Chennai, being a president of Producers Council and also holding power in Nadigar Sangham, actor Vishal said and did have happened in whatever way he thought. Meanwhile, with the death of former Tamilnadu CM Jayalalitha on 5th December 2016, RK Nagar MLA seat has fallen vacant.
Currently, the by-poll is scheduled, suddenly hero Vishal had declared that he will contest the poll as an independent. After visiting Jayalalitha and MGR's resting place, he went to file his nomination which is signed by ten proposers.
Earlier Vishal's nomination was rejected by the Returning Officer saying that two proposers have filed a police complaint saying that their signatures are forged. Later Vishal gave a telephonic audio clip for clarity, the EC is said to have accepted his nomination. The elated actor tweeted then "After much struggle, his nomination for the RK Nagar election is finally accepted”.
