According to sources the elections for the Punjab State assembly were held on February 04, 2017 with 75% voter turnout. In Punjab all the 117 assembly constituencies have triangular contests between major parties makes the results uncertain and the result was declared on 11 March 2017.
Elections for the Goa State assembly were held on February 04, 2017 with 83% turnout. VVPAT fitted EVMs was used in entire Goa state in the 2017 elections, which was the first time that an entire state in India saw the implementation of VVPAT. Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh were held from 11th February to 9th March 2017 in seven phases. Result was declared on 11 March 2017.
