Recently, all eyes were on India's Capital New Delhi due to the smog and as the Test match between India and Sri Lanka also ended with players puking on the ground it became a national issue. Now, Greenpeace has calculated that India has some serious Pollution cases and so far around 1.2 Million lost their lives due to Air Pollution.

It's not just about Delhi. A report from TNM says that Chennai is also having some worst Air pollution levels ever. TNM has given some updates on the pollution and it's just plain worse. The Air Quality Index has been tested in Alandur Bus Depot (198), Manali (125) and IIT Madras (143) and all of them are hazardous.

The PM should be in the range of 2.5. If the Air Quality Index goes beyond 250, there comes the situation where even a healthy person should avoid outdoor activities. Delhi has already reached that levels and now Chennai are just behind Delhi in this.
