According to sources the Andhra Pradesh IT minister N Lokesh was on official visit to America to attract investments in his state. Meanwhile as part of it, the minister succeeded in convincing Google X to set up its development centre in Visakhapatnam.
Earlier Lokesh met the Google X representatives in San Francisco and had explained in detail the facilities made available to develop growth centre in the port city. Moreover he had also assured AP government will utilize the optic facility being developed at the Google's development centre.
Perhaps, Google is setting up its first development
centre outside America in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore the company
representatives will be arriving Andhra soon to undertake the project.
