The Counting of votes for the results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections will begin shortly. BJP has the muscle in Gujarat elections and they are looking to get their 6th straight term win on their soil while Congress is looking to surprise the opposition after a long span of 22 years.
The EVM tampering and various issues were already addressed. So, the counting of votes in Gujarat will take place at 37 centers across 37 districts. The counting will also take place in Himachal Pradesh to decide the fate of the 337 candidates who are contesting for 68 assembly seats.
All the counting centers will have CCTV coverage. Heavy protection has been given to all the counting centers. As per exit polls, BJP is likely to win in both the election results. Watch out this space and track the results with APHERALD.
