Security has been tightened in Hyderabad Delhi today after alerts from m central security agencies that Pakistan-based Lashker-e-Taiba terror group may attempt to attack markets or places of strategic importance during Ramadan festival .
Delhi,Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad Police immediately beefed up the security in market places, government and private buildings. Close circuit television cameras installed in various market places and shopping malls were being thoroughly monitored by the police besides sensitizing the shop and business establishment owners in the city, sources said.
Senior officials said the security beef up was just another dress rehearsal in view of the Independence Day celebrations. The sources said an intense vigil is being maintained on key installations like Assembly, Secretariat ,CM camp office, Hitech city , Secunderabad Railway station , Parliament complex, international airport, railway stations, inter-state bus terminals and Metro stations besides the border points
