The two major Telugu dailies Eenadu and Sakshi have confronted each other in their articles since the inception of Sakshi. Telugu readers observed verbal attacks and counter attacks on each other that published in two dailies since last few years. It seems that both have one common understanding on Seemandhra agitation. EENADU and SAKSHI are giving huge publicity on the SA agitation in their print and electronic media.
People known that Eenadu give more coverage in favor of CBN and TDP where as Sakshi directly act as mouthpiece of Jagan and YSRCP. Both of these have first two leading Telugu dailies in circulation. Both have consent opinion on giving propaganda for Samaikyandhra Agitation. Every day print media covers photos of agitation in various districts on Andhra and Rayalaseema. They too aired news relation to Samaikyandhra Agitation in electronic media as well.
16 of YSRCP MLAs made their resignations against Telangana. By this party clears its stand for United Andhra. To uphold it’s stand Sakshi is trying to gave more coverage news on Seemandhra Agitation. It will useful politically for the party, in any case Congress takes back the decision on Telangana. But Eenadu didn’t disclose it’s stand on Telangana. Some of the analysts believe that Eenadu gave importance to Seemandhra Agitation than Telangana moment. Telnagana Analysts believe that both are related to Seemandhra media.
