Komatireddy brothers are very powerful political group in Nalgonda Politics. Of Course! They are also facing stiff opposition with others like Damodara Reddy and Palwai in Nalgonda Congress. They have very much close to late YSR’s era. Komatireddy brothers were in dilemma on their political future after the sad demise of YSR. At one time they showed interest to join in YSRCP. But Telangana moment stopped their political aspirations.
Komatireddy Venkata Reddy who represented to the Assembly from Nalgonda segment resigned for MLA position for the cause of Telangana. And his brother Rajagopala Reddy is MP from Bhuvanagiri constituency. If Congress hasn’t announced Telangana they will join in YSRCP. As part of their political strategy, they swapped their positions for coming 2014 elections. Venkata Reddy is likely to contest as MP from Nalgonda segment and his brother Rajagopala Reddy shifted to Nalgonda MLA. Komatireddy brothers also suggest Gutta to shift to Bhuvangiri. The reason behind that is very clear. T-sentiment is more in Bhuvanagiri segment when compared to Nalgonda.
Another leader Gutta Sukhendra Reddy from existing Nalgonda Parliament too interested to jump into YSRCP. Later in Telangana moment he fought with High Command along with other T-Congress MPs since last 4 years. Brothers want to play safe political game. On other side Palwai who opposed Komatireddy brothers complained to Congress High Command on their relation with Jagan. Damodara Reddy also wants to enter his son from Nalgonda segment for coming general elections. Will Gutta convince for the proposal? Is High Command agreed to swap brothers positions? Nalgonda Congress politics will be interesting in future.
