Is Congress repeating what it had done in 1981 by provoking the self respect of Telugus like never before? Well in that year an incident happened at Begumpet airport where Rajiv Gandhi, AICC Secretary General was boarding a flight to Tirupathi.
The then CM Anjaiah reportedly tried to accompany Rajiv on a special aircraft and he was immediately asked to step down by Rajiv. In a way a constitutional authority like CM was insulted by Indira’s son. This provoked outrage and NTR came out openly saying Telugus have been insulted.
This led to a wave called TDP and the rest is history. Today, is the Congress high command repeating the same mistake by creating strife between Telugus and taking warmth in the fire. Will history forgive Congress again? The way things are it looks like Telugus will decimate Congress, let’s see!
