According to sources, former CM Marri Chenna Reddy’s son and Sanathnagar MLA, National Disaster Management Agency Vice-Chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy is reportedly toeing a compromise line on Telangana. The name of Shashidhar is currently making strong rounds in the political circles.
Sources say that he is also going on the same lines as that of Union Minister Jaipal Reddy and there are reports that he is advocating for some form of compromise on Hyderabad. There are reports that Shashidhar has enough clout in Delhi and his word will be taken seriously by congress high command.
He has reportedly added that backwardness and lack of political space has given rise to Telangana sentiment again and also added that the people of Seemandhra can live fearlessly in Hyderabad and no one can claim Hyderabad in totality. We have to see if this compromise formula works or not.
