Union Congress minister Chidambaram who hails from Tamil Naidu seems to be playing a big role in splitting the state of Andhra Pradesh. In their latest move, Seemandhra protesters seems to have finally lost patience it seems and in order to take revenge against Chidambaram they reportedly decided to stall the drinking water supply for Chennai.
Chennai and its suburbs are dependent fully on the water supplied by Andhra Pradesh for the drinking water uses. This is supplied through Telugu Ganga and sources say that Seemandhra agitators have stated that due to Chidambaram's involvement in bifurcation AP, they have stopped water flowing into the canal.
This is now being diverted into the fields of farmers in Rayalseema and Nellore. Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha minces no words when it comes to any issue affecting Tamil interests and people are waiting for her official reaction. But many are stating that due to Chidambaram only the Telangana issue got so much of fuel so his state is paying the price for his deeds.
