Well-known real estate businessman in Kurnool K. Janardhan Reddy will make his entry into politics. KJ Reddy name is famous with huge success of “Raaga Mayuri builders” in faction town. Raaga Mayuri has planned to construct first IT SEZ in Kurnool. KJR has maintained very good relations with all political leaders in Kurnool district. TDP local leaders forced KJR to join in TDP and to contest from Paanyam segment.
Paanyam has it’s own significance segment in Kurnool district. Late Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy represented from this segment and became Chief Minister of the state. TDP has lost it’s strong mandals in Paanyam after delimitation of the constituency in 2009. Sitting Congress MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy is looking towards YSRCP and Gouru Sucharitha is already forward her application to Jagan for Paanyam.
Amid of these developments TDP is searching for strong candidate for this segment. After Byreddy deserts TDP, party cadre has no leader to direct in this segment. TDP leaders are trying to rope KJR into Paanyam arena. If KJR will become TDP nominee there would have more chance to win in this segment. New face also encouraging factor for him among other contenders. KJR neither condemned nor uphold this rumor.
