TDP leader and Hero Balakrishna has showed his generosity once again. Balakrishna who wishes to contest in Assembly elections for 2014 elections wants to play active role in social service to win hearts of the people. Hero is involved more in running Cancer Institute rather than movies and put the hospital in the list of India’s top 15 Cancer Institute’s in the country. Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital is one among the top 15 cancer care facilities in India by a survey done weekly magazine in recent past.
Most of his generous activities haven’t known to either media or to the public. Balakrishna is always come forward for raising funds through stage shows in and outside India. Since last three days news on Dubagunta Rosamma is suffering from illness and financially struggle to cure the illness comes out in news channels. Rosamma is known for her fight towards illicit liquor 10 years ago that forced NTR to implement ban on liquor in 1994. Starting from BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu who gave money 50,000/- to Rosamma many leaders were come forward and donate money for hospital charges.

As per TDP sources, Balakrishna had talk to her and gave assurance on hospital expenditure. He also gave assurance to her family for providing accommodation in Nellore town.
