Natasimha Balakrishna who is keen to show his power in politics may soon go to Rajya Sabha. Buzz is TDP is planning to nominate Balakarishna to Rajya Sabha in place of his brother Harikrishna who resigned from his seat protesting centre's decision on Telangana.
Rajya Sabha's forthcoming biennial elections is scheduled to be held on February 7. Chandra Babu Naidu's TDP with the present strength of 81 MLAs can win two seats that are falling vacant from Andhra Pradesh.
A close source says "TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has decided that Balaiah, a member of the NTR family, will be nominated to the Rajya Sabha for one of the two seats,". TDP expects Balakrishna play active role than his brother Hari Krishna.
Chandra Babu's close aide says "It is Harikrishna's seat and rightfully belongs to the NTR family. So, it is in the fairness of things that Balakrishna is nominated in the vacancy," . A TDP leader adds "Almost all district committees of TDP have been requesting the party president to bring Balaiah into electoral politics,"
