Why has the Congress high command chosen to sent Tikkavarapu Subbarami Reddy (TSR) for being renominated to Rajya Sabha for a third term .Sources in Congress say that TSR offered almost Rs.50 crore for LS but got RS instead . and is not very happy ,though as he has not won his point with Purandeswari .
Reliable sources say that high command wanted to use his money power to stem the revolt in seemandhra congress and is very keen that only TSR could achieve it with his clout . He is using his film connections to win over senior Delhi politicians and bureaucrats .
Everyone knows that he is power broker with a huge establishment at Delhi to manage officials, politicians and also the Delhi media .He spent money like water and to win over both officials and also his opponents in politics and business .
By giving Rajya sabha seat to him congress high command has made things easy for Purandeswari to continue in congress and give up her rebel attitude. In the same breath it has roped in KVP and M A Khan to exploit sentiments against Jagan groups and the minority votes
TSR had challenged Purandareswari that he would contest for lok sabha from Visakhapatnam at any cost but congress high command is using him just to plug holes in the seemandhra MLAs revolt against party . No wonder TSR the popular in film industry and also media as a power broker is still continuing even at his ripe age for over 60 , due to his money power
