There is still no clarity on seat that Hero Balakrishna seeks to contest in 2014 general elections. Right from starting onwards, hero wants to contest in Assembly elections. Various names of Assembly constituencies come into media circles like Penamaluru and Gudiwada in Krishna district and Hindupur Segment in Ananthapur district. Balayya said that he will act as per the directions of Party High Command but sure to contest for Assembly not for Parliament. Reportedly, CBN wants not to form another power centre in the party. There are speculations that CBN may send NBK to Rajya Sabha. Hero rejects CBN proposal on Rajya Sabha. CBN had talked Hindupur sitting MLA Abdul Ghani on 2014 general elections. As per buzz, CBN not guaranteed to Ghani in 2014 elections but assured him to see another alternative. This rumors spread around the media circles. To whom CBN has reserved Hindupur? Reportedly, TDP has planned to field NBK from Hindupur. Contesting from Hindupur will have much impact on 4 districts of Rayalaseema. To counter YSRCP wave in Rayalaseema, party believes that NBK is the only option. TDP is strong base in Krishna district. Fielding NBK from Hindupur is more advantage for the party than in Krishna district. Hindupur is the second largest town in the Ananthapur district. Late NTR was elected thrice (1985, 1989 and 1994) from this Segment with massive majority. Harikrishna was elected in 1996 from this segment. Will NBK repeats the history again from Hindupur?
