After its formal introduction for the first time by the Election Commission of India, Congress MLA and key politician, Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao has reportedly utilized the rejection votes in the Rajya sabha elections held today.
Daggubati has reportedly informed reports that he has utilized the "None Of The Above" option for rejecting all the candidates who are contesting the six Rajya Sabha seats. He also had said that he has consulted CM Kiran and PCC chief Botsa before casting his vote.
Daggubati added that all the MLAs from Seemandhra had resigned from their posts on December 9, 2009, announcement on Telangana and they were later asked to follow the requests of the Congress High Command.
Daggubati has expressed regret that the Congress High Command has taken a decision in favour of dividing Andhra Pradesh without taking Seemandhra interests into account. Well analysts this will spark the further exodus and others quitting the Congress!
