Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi (RPS) founder Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy has accused the Congress of enacting a big drama over the Telangana statehood issue to fool the people of the State.
Byreddy said that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy was only playing his part in the drama scripted by the Congress high command. “ Kiran is defying his party high command only to the extent that was allowed by the Delhi Directors. Had it not been the case, he could not have continued in the post after going against the decision of the Congress Working Committee,” he charged,
Byreddy further said the State bifurcation process was in its last leg and the Congress was planning to consider some demands just to placate the BJP to ensure the smooth passage of the Telangana Bill in the Parliament.
