The proposal to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh for carving out a state of Telangana has led to some really embarrassing scenes in Parliament today. All this is a result of the insensitive actions took by Congress unmindful of how it has hurt the sentiments of many. The media channels showed four union ministers KS Rao, D Purandeswari, Chiranjeevi and K Surya Prakash Reddy rushing towards the Speaker's chair to protest over the planned bifurcation of their state when they were almost attacked by Telangana MPs. In the meanwhile Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud stood in a protective manner near Sonia Gandhi. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that his heart bleeds to see what is happening in the house and expressed that it is sad for democracy. The PM made these comments when two parliamentarians from the Congress and TDP almost came to blows in the Lok Sabha when they were held back by other MPs. Looking at the manner in which PM reacted after four years of bitterly dividing Telugus by Congress actions, the common man is considering this to be no less than a joke!
