This timeframe drama regarding the new capital indicates the confusion reigning in Congress party over how it is handling the sensitive issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The chaos that took place at parliament is a live example of their incapability. With many Seemandhras also getting mentally prepared that bifurcation is inevitable, there was a faint hope that atleast the party will quickly pick up a new capital for residuary AP so that people can divert their focus from agitation towards developing their own capital. The Congress party had announced Telangana on July 30th but there was no word on new capital and only in December, Home Minister Shinde suddenly remembered this and said an expert committee will take 45 days to choose a new capital and after 45 days was over, the Central government declared it will take six months. Now with the bifurcation fire hitting Parliament, the Home Ministry is once again sending leaks that within 45 days, a new capital will be decided and people feel this is not the final word and there will be more jokes by the party in the process of it playing fire with their lives!
