Industrialists and entrepreneurs have concentrated on Post bifurcation for their growth. They have participated in “AP development and Industrial development” after the division. They are confident that residuary AP state will developed very quickly if people and government extended to support. They believed that every district could develop as like “Hyderabad”. Prime Minister said that Government co-operate for the development of the SA and agreed in Rajya Sabha for Special Status for SA.
Already Kesineni and Navayuga have planned to shift to SA and will change their register addresses also. Central cabinet has sanctioned to VIJAYAWADA with 100 CRORES budget to set NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN (NID). Industrials believe that this will be the bigger than NIFT centre in Hyderabad. One of the big IT giant Wipro also have plans to set up their operational centre at Vizag. Reportedly, Azim Premji sent a Technical team to search for suitable place to set-up. Wipro has planned to make MOU with newly formed Government in SA.
Another Tech biggie IBM also starts it’s new operations in Vijayawada by the end of 3rd quarter of 2015. IBM officials in thought of various reasons to start it’s branch in Vijayawada. IT Park in Vijayawada is just 2 KM distance to the Airport and availability of land and labor made IBM to shift to Vijayawada. Mahendra Satyam had announced offers on Mainframes for Vizag. It seems development in SA is inevitable.
