With the chances of a pre-poll alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) coming down, the Congress is reportedly planning to reach out towards its former members in the TRS party. And they seem to be finding success to some extent. Sources say most of the dalit members are unhappy with TRS and are planning to stage a comeback with Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vivekananda taking the lead and sources say he will be back into Congress when party president Sonia Gandhi will be arriving in Hyderabad to address the Telangana victory rally in the April first week. AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi reportedly personally spoke to him, who is technically still a Congress MP, and invited to him to come back to the Congress fold saying Congress is the party of their family. Vivek owns Vishaka Asbestos and entered electoral politics in 2004 by contesting from Peddapalli constituency and belongs to a very influential family in Telangana. If Vivek returns to Congress as expected, it will be abig blow to the TRS camp.
