Any smart businessman is the one who will commit anything only if he gains and solely it should be his gain. Among many politicians, their statements and commitments are based on their gains and to achieve that they will not hesitate to use their power too.
Now this seems to be the case as to why Jagan Mohan Reddy finally lifted his hands off when it comes to aligning with the CPI (M). Sources say that even after the party's national chief Prakash Karat personally spoke to Jagan over the phone, he refused to oblige.
Even Jagan reportedly organized a survey according to which he found out that the comrades cannot even win a single seat even as they requested Jagan to at least give ten seats. But Jagan is known to be firm once he takes a decision.
Hence in the name of friendship with communists, Jagan didn't want to sacrifice at least ten seats to them and wanted to go all alone! It has to be seen whether this move will prompt the communists to look for other parties and form an alliance.
