Terming Lok Satta chief Jaya Prakash Narayan as the marketing agent of TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress spokesperson reportedly asked him to close down his political party and merge it with the Telugu Desam Party.
Jaya Prakash Narayan was reportedly heard saying that he couldn’t understand the Amma Vodi scheme announced in YSRCP manifesto for which the party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao appealed to JP to actually behave like a politician.
He reportedly added that scheme was meant to encourage children in the poor families to go to schools and colleges and pursue higher education combined with their overall career development. But how the scheme would be implemented was never explained.
In a sense of political twists and turns, people are saying that YSRCP has given a bumper offer to TDP to convince JP of merger! Even if JP doesn’t merge Lok Satta which is unlikely, even his support will give a big boost to the vote bank of the Yellow brigade.
