Congress has many leaders for the positions but not for campaign. It seems that Congress leaders in Telangana have no STAR campaigner to counter TRS President KCR. In 2009, YSR made a campaign in both regions to come to the power. After him no one is there to replace him in AP. It’s pitiable situation that all senior leaders are craving for Sonia and Rahul instead of their own strength. In Telangana there are many seniors in queue for MLAs, MPs, Ministers and CM.
TPCC President Ponnala is hardly going beyond the Janagao Segment. Jana Reddy is facing tough time in Nagarjuna Sagar this time. Uttam Kumar is trying hard to win both his and Kodad (Wife Segment). Former PCC DS aims to win his Segment (Nizamabad Rural) leaving rest of Telangana. Damodara Raja Narasimha and Geetha Reddy fail to come out from Medak district. Jaipal Reddy is struggling to win Mahabubnagar MP.
All the above so called Senior Leaders are looking towards Sonia and Rahul road-shows and meetings. Congress failed to grab the credit of giving Telangana. Sonia (Karimnagar) meeting is not much successful like in 2009. On other hand, KCR doing his election campaign vigorously all through the districts. BJP Star campaigners like Modi and Sushma will come into the picture from next week onwards.
