Now even for fans of TDP it is becoming increasingly clear as to why TDP has been away from power for last ten years. The TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu was criticized for his way of dealing with cadre and leaders.
Till 1994 when he even called new local leaders at cadre eleven by name, Babu has come a long way after shifting TDP headquarters from Musheerabad to Banjara hills. Recently it was the case of Linga Reddy.
He was the TDP chief of Cuddapah district. He was the sole MLA who won from that district when there was YSR wave in 2009 and resisted all offers from YSRCP. But today Naidu gave away the Proddatur Assembly ticket to recent entrant from Congress Varadarajulu Reddy.
Linga Reddy and his wife reportedly met Naidu while they literally cried in front of him and Linga Reddy called himself as the most unfortunate person in the world. The cadre is also unhappy. This is just one example of his manner of dealing with party affairs.
