HTC has launched two new smartphones — Desire 816 and Desire 210 in the Indian market. HTC Desire 210 is a dual-sim (GSM+GSM) smartphone that sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display. The phone is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. The phone runs Android (version unspecified) with HTC's Sense UI running on top. The Desire 210 sports a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone comes with 1300mAh removable battery. In terms of connectivity options, the phone offers 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Desire 210 will be available by the end of April at a price of Rs 8,700. HTC Desire 816 is a dual-sim (EVDO/GSM+GSM) smartphone. It features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 X 1280p. The phone is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, and 1.5GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage expandable through a microSD card. It sports BoomSound front stereo speakers just like the HTC One. The Desire 816 sports a 13MP, f/2.2 rear camera that can capture 1080p video and a 5MP front facing camera. The phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS connectivity options. It is backed by a 2,600mAh battery and comes with a nano-sim slot. The phone will be available starting May. HTC Desire 816 has been priced at Rs 23,990.
