BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has reportedly issued an ultimatum to TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu to either withdraw his party candidates from three Assembly segments in the Seemandhra region which was allotted to BJP or he should stay away from the NDA rally scheduled in Hyderabad on April 22. Modi is all set to visit the Telangana region on Tuesday even as the Gujarat chief minister passed a message to Naidu to withdraw three candidates by Monday if not the NDA rally in Hyderabad the next day may be in danger. TDP has allotted three Assembly seats of Santanutalapadu (Prakasam district), Kaikalur (Krishna) and Kadapa to the BJP, but TDP candidates also filed their official nominations at the last hour after receiving the B-forms from their party president. Naidu had a public showdown with the BJP on Friday, but he later patched up a day later without the saffron party agreeing to any of his demands, except replacing its weak choice of candidates in Narsaraopet and Kodumoru with stronger candidates.
