Now after the formation of Telangana State is only matter of a few days, those who had opposed the bifurcation are gradually getting habituated to the situation. So, those who had quit the parties in protest against bifurcation are coming back to secure their political future. Take for example, former MLA and Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi founder-president Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy. He had quit the TDP in protest against the party’s stand in favour of bifurcation and announced his own political party to fight for separate Rayalaseema State. His party also fielded candidates in several Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies. Now, he has realized that he is on a losing side and there is none to protect his political interests. He did not get support from people either. So, he has sent signals to the TDP leadership for getting back into the party. The TDP leaders have welcomed him back into the party, but wanted that he withdraw all his candidates from the contest. Byreddy, however, is demanding that the TDP should allow at least his daughter to remain in the electoral race. Talks are still on, it is to be decided whether he will be back in TDP.
