With the US government approaching India for the arrest of Congress Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao there is tension all around in political circles. Till date, KVP has remained the untouched Kingmaker and powerful man.
He was indicted by a US Federal Jury over charges of receiving bribes to the tune of 18.5 million dollars from an American firm for mining of titanium minerals in AP. The case has been on since a long while but now the decisions are being taken on it.
Sources say that American National Crime Bureau through Interpol to the CBI, the US authorities have reportedly requested that KVP should be placed under provisional arrest for his possible extradition to the US.
KVP was a close aide of the late AP CM Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. The CBI has let him off hook but now that he is being sought by a serious country like the US, it has to be seen whether he would finally spill beans about late YSR and other corruption deeds during his tenure to this.
