There are reports that only after BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi reportedly prodded to involve power star Pawan Kalyan in the NDA election campaign, a reluctant TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu actually patched up with the star yesterday.
Well this translated into immediate results with Pawan saying he will campaign for the NDA candidates in both regions and also for TDP candidate Malla Reddy from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat. The presence of Pawan is bound to create good mileage for both TDP and BJP.
Pawan had announced earlier that he would be campaigning for the Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan even if it meant acting against the NDA. Incidentally, Pawan had decided to support NDA during these elections.
Sources said the Pawan-Naidu meeting took place yesterday only after Pawan complained to Narendra Modi at LB Stadium rally in Hyderabad that though he is eager to take up campaigning for the NDA, Naidu was reluctant to involve him in the campaign so far.
