Whats app the latest sensation of messengers is proud to announce that they are 500 million active users world wide. Whatsapp is growing faster than expected in India and it's almost half of Facebook users in India with 48 million members using it.
Speaking about this "In the last few months, we've grown fastest in countries like Brazil, India, Mexico, and Russia," Koum wrote in his recent blog post. He also added that we are working with Indian service providers to give unlimited whatsapp usage facily for just 20 rps a month.
Adding to this he also said "There's not enough money and not enough celebrities in the world to convince people to use a shitty product. People are so savvy these days. People expect a good user experience," while speaking about Whatsapp design.
