Reminding the people of Telangana that it is the UPA government which has fulfilled its poll promises given to the people of the Telangana region, PM Manmohan Singh will also arrive here and address a public meeting at Bhongir in Nalgonda district this weekend.
Sources say Congress is giving high importance to the campaign in the Telangana region. While party chief Sonia and vice-president Rahul Gandhi already completed first round of meetings last week, Rahul is all set scheduled to visit the region again this week.
Now, the party is roping in PM Manmohan Singh who will talk at length the efforts made by the UPA government for the passage of the T-bill in Parliament. AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh is all set to arrive Hyderabad today to make arrangements.
Sources say the Prime minister will land at Konur village close to Bhongir around 4 pm on April 26th. Bhongir was the place where Sonia Gandhi for the second time assured on a promise to deliver Telangana during her 2009 campaign.
