YSRCP leaders have complained to Election Commission against TDP Hindupur assembly candidate Balakrishna and other TDP leaders for violating model code of conduct.They sought disqualification on Balakrishna, Kinjarapu Ramamohan Naidu, Bappu Ramana Murthy for alleged violation of election code.
In the complaint letter to EC, YSRCP leaders have mentioned that actor Balakrishna, Kinjarapu Ramamohan and Baggu Ramana Murthy have been involved in activities not permissible under model code of conduct, like printing and allowing supporters to wear T-shirts with pictures of Lord Krishna, along with words, "Jai Telugu Desam".
They pointed out that TDP was using pictures of Lord Krishna in a bid to play the religion card, during the voting. They requested EC to take necessary steps and disqualify Balakrishna and other two leaders for poll code violation. Election commissioner is yet to take up the complaint.
Other side Balayya busy with roaming in Constituency and he has visited several polling booths early morning and enquiring about the polling trend.Its known that Hindupur is ‘Kanchukota’ for TDP and Nandamuri family has 100% success record there. Balakrishna, his fans and TDP cadre is expecting the history to be repeated once again.
