Slowly but steadily the expected result is surfacing. According to reports, the manner in which Congress party has been wiped out from Seemandhra has reportedly baffled the Congress leadership in Delhi like anything.
Sources say that Seemandhra Congress leaders who have been waiting patiently have lashed at their leadership when there were some phone calls coming from Delhi to enquire about this horrible debacle.
Congress just won 54 wards out of nearly 2300 wards in Seemandhra region and the leadership expected the party to gain at least 500-600 wards. The manner in which a permanent damage has been done to Congress has reportedly left Congress leaders speechless.
This is even as the party leaders clearly told their Delhi bosses that this was expected to happen given their aggressive moves on bifurcation and the party is left with no trace in this region. The way it looks, Congress may never see light in this region ever again.
