The scenario and numbers game strongly say that there are chances for the lady batch to form the opposition at the central Government to be formed now by either BJP alone or the NDA under the leadership of the to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As per the results of the recently held general elections, numbers clearly show that there is no single party including Congress having enough numbers to form the opposition. As per the rules opposition can be formed by a party having atleast 10% strength of the house and the second largest party Congress does not have this numbers. This is now leading all eyes towards the lady batch, Amma and Didi who stand next in the list. Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa fondly called as "Amma" has almost clean swept the Tamilnadu Lok Sabha. Amma led DMK has bagged 37 of 39 seats standing third. Then comes the Chief Minister of west Bengal, Mamta Banerjee fondly called as "Didi", who has also almost recorded a clean sweep. Mamta led Trinamool Congress has bagged 34 seats of the existing 42 seats there. At this junction where the major party, Congress has no clear majority for opposition now, here comes in an interesting equation of both Amma and Didi coming together. As per the law, this equation is supported to form an opposition. Sources say that Madam Mamata has already started her trials and talks in this regards with the Tamilnadu CM. No wonder if CM Jayalalithaa agrees and an opposition is formed. If at all this happens, this would for sure be like spraying salt on the wounds situation for the Congress party, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. But from the public point of view, it would be a welcome note of a new change.
