The giant even came to an end. Election results, was a shock to certain regional parties but it’s a pleasant surprise for some. Andhrapradesh results were close fought but Telangana results were unanimous. Though results were expected to be in favour of BJP and NDA but the margin was astounding. People’s views in AP, Telangana and INDIA were very clear. Hence there are clear majorities. Though Telangana verdict was marginal TRS getting just enough numbers to form government, with Majlis party alliance there is a scope for stable government. Congress completely being rooted out in the State is a lesson to be learned by other parties. Governments should work for the people not for their parties. With the opportunity presented to the parties, it’s time for the action. It’s time for leaders to perform and meet the needs of the state. For Andhrapradesh and Telangana challenge seems to be still the Bifurcation and thus the division of property, debt, resources and government employee. Bigger challenge is for Andhrapradesh is to rebuild the state. State needs to build a capital, infrastructure and employment. Even bigger challenge for CBN is to keep his promises. Of course KCR’s promises are equally challenging to meet. For CBN, getting budget, loans and industries to the state and improving the employment scenario is more important. Though he is a proven administrator, this time the challenge is much bigger. Being an ally of NDA and Modi as PM is a relief for him. Funding for the new capital, special status for state, developing industrial corridor between Vishakhapatnam and Chennai corridor and creating more profitable ports are the priorities for CBN. Farmer debt clearance from the banks is not going to be an easy task for the new government. Task in Telangana state is equally challenging but relatively relaxed. At center, NDA will form a government and cabinet is yet to be decided. Inviting SAARC leaders, including Pakistan PM, for the PM’s swearing is right step for the regional harmony and peace. GDP growth, price reduction, plummeting inflation, curbing corruption, rising employment and forming key policies must be the immediate tasks. Leadership in both state and center needs to relook at their manifesto and needs and better start running. People are now more aware and watching their performance closely. Their message is clear, Dear leaders It’s time for action. ISHAANI
