To be Chief Minister of divided Andhrapradesh state, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is onto his duties and consultations as the CM even before he is actually sworn in officially. He had to take this up as per the already building in pressures from the counterpart, Telangana state and also the promises made by him as a part of his election campaign. It is undoubtedly to be agreed that major part in the victory of Telugudesam party led by Chandrababu Naidu has been played by the promises made by Babu during the final legs of his campaign. They include the loan waivers for farmers, Dwakra women, Developmet of the new state, transformation of Andhrapradesh to Singapore, Job for each house and so on. Now, the result is come and promises are to be kept by Babu to prove his credibility. For the same, Babu is flown now to the national capital city, Delhi for the talks with the Prime Minster Narendra Modi and the other cabinet Ministers of India to seek support in terms of keeping up his promises. Babu at Delhi has demanded that the residuary state be accorded special category status and all assurances that were given by the previous government, including tax incentives and special financial package, be implemented immediately. Babu met with Uma Bharati, Water Resources Minister and demanded that the new state gets 30 tmc water so that the water needs of the state can be taken care of. After done with meets Babu said to the reporters that the UPA government had mainly given three promises, tax incentives for the new state for industries, special category status for the purpose of central grants and special package for the Rayalaseema and north coastal Andhra districts, which now needs to be kept by the NDA Government.
