Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa name is known for TDP cadre in Godavari districts. He is working as TDP President for East Godavari district. He holds this post since 22 years. He had long wish to win in direct elections. But time hasn’t been co-operated for him to reach his goal. In 2009 delimitation, Rajappa own segment Amalapuram turns to be SC reserved from general. Though he is District President, Rajappa has no capacity and strength to contest from anywhere in the district.
Rajappa has no intention to contest in 2014 general elections. He doesn’t know even his candidature finalized from Peddapuram Segment till last minute. He lost his father one day before the nominations closed. Yenamala made a call to Rajappa with nomination papers from Peddapuram just one day before the nominations were closed. He obeys the party orders and files his nomination papers without any hopes.
He was involved in the campaign in last few days. TDP cadre is unwillingly participated in the campaign. Both cadre and Rajappa have never expected to win the Segment. Rajappa not even arrived to counting centre on counting day. His dream come to be true and became MLA from Peddapuram. Reportedly, TDP President is considering his name for Deputy Chief Minister for the state from Kapu Community. If it is true Rajappa would become the luckiest politician in the state.
