When the main opponent is invincible, it is common to see even rivals coming together. The ZPP polls in Telangana have become a witness to such public bonhomie. Right now, the TRS party is in a very commanding position sweeping all forms of elections.
It is a known fact that TDP and Congress are bitter rivals but for the first time after Telangana formation, TRS has emerged as a ruling party and has been leaving no opportunity to downsize both the parties.
Now sources say that out of the eight Zilla Parishads in Telangana minus Khammam which is pending in court, Congress and TDP have tied up to counter TRS. With the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu giving the green signal, Errabbeli Dayakar Rao has entered the scene.
Reports say he had discussions with Ponnala Lakshmaiah and Jana Reddy. Now TDP is expected to support Congress to secure Mahabubnagar and Warangal Zilla Parishad while Congress will extend support for TDP to gain Ranga Reddy ZP. So in total TRS will get 4, Congress 3 and TDP 1 in Telangana.
